Sheshequin

We stayed at the Sheshequin Campground. The sign is really quite sharp...not like my photo.
Althouh not visible, the Lycoming Creek is right past the tree line. Unfortunately a residence which looked more like a junk yard was across the stream
Here you can see the proximity of the stream to our campsite. Like the rest of the State, the water here is extremely low.
The campground is basically open and not shaded. Not a concern for us since we only slept here.
Bath house was a bit of a walk away but it was clean and the water was hot. Very suitable.
We had a bit of rain on this trip but two of the evenings were dry so we lit a fire.
Since the Lycoming was so low, we fished Rock Run and searched for wild brookies. Unfortunately for us this area appears to be more geared towards day use…
